An evening of Postal history from the Scottish Islands
On 27th October the Society was delighted to welcome Norman Hudson to Northwich to talk to us about Postal History from the Scottish Islands.
The talk took us from the islands on the West coast of Scotland right the way up and round to Orkney and Shetlands.
With something from all the Islands and some rarities included we were treated to a glimpse back in time from pre stamp days to modern oddities like Post & Go with clear island cancels.
The society would like to thank Mr Hudson for a wonderful talk and a most entertaining evening.
